That Catherine's home at her parents, is the same one as Jane Austen's in Becoming Jane?

Or was it just me?
But the garden gate sure looked the same.

I thought that too! When Catherine was returning home, I thought "That looks like the gate from Becoming Jane..." I don't know for sure, but they were both filmed in Ireland, and the chances are they would have both wanted to avoid going too far from Dublin so it is very possible they used the same house.

yes! i thought that as well - I had seen Becoming Jane in the afternoon, a couple of hours before Northanger Abbey. It must be the same!

I noticed too!

If they are not the same house and location then I will be very surprised. They looked extremely similar.

To fall in love, you have to sacrifice everything.

Thank goodness I am not the only one who notices these things, it was so funny when I saw it I went backwards on the tape just to make sure. :-)
