We need more dark gritty movies

This was pretty good compared to the *beep* like Anabelle that horror movie fans have had to deal with lately. The forest scene in the original was better but this is still pretty decent. I just wonder why there isn't more gritty movies like this and Martyrs, Inside, and A Serbian Film.

Ok, I was going to agree on the basis of gritty films that deal with tough issues, but you must be twisted if you think TRASH like "Serbian" is anything remotely admirable or decent.

Or the OP just has a different opinion than you? Plenty of people agree that A Serbian Film was great.

While I don't hate Annabelle like some seem to, I agree that we need more gritty films. The only really dark films these days tend to be foreign. I'd love for a comeback of 70s style horror and exploitation.
