The FAQ page is glitched?

Under this heading:
What are the differences between the remake and the original?

Mise-en-scene - This film takes place in 2009 rather than 1972 or the 14th century, like the original films.

Wes Craven has said that the original "Last House on the Left" was basically a remake of "The Virgin Spring" but set in modern times. "The Virgin Spring" has a similar basic plot about a father who seeks revenge against a group of men who raped and murdered his daughter. After the rape, the men seek shelter at the murdered girl's home and the parents discover that they are the ones responsible for their daughter's death. The film happens to take place in the 14th century, which is where the reference comes from in the FAQ page.
