college started filming 1 month after superbad! the movie was not even out or even close to being out when college was being filmed so to keep saying it was a rip off is ridiculous! are there a lot of weird similarities? yes!! but they were totally unintentional!

College's release date was continuously pushed back over and over again, probably because the studio didn't have much faith in it.

The main friend group was weirdly similar. Both had the dorky nice guy main character, the extra weird nerdy friend, and the fat annoying friend. The College fat friend even trashed on the nerdy friend the same way that Seth did to Mclovin in Superbad.
shareI always tend to notice that people will comment that if a movie comes out and there is one that was made before that then they try to compare it for some reason. They might have similarities to it but they were their own movies with different actors in it and the story might be a little different in some way or another.
