Is comedy the most difficult genre for an actor?

I was very impressed by how the parents in the movie were able to keep a straight face through out - almost. I think the father broke down at the dinner at some point, no?

I would love to see the blooper reel for this one. I know they are all professionals and time is money on the set, but I'm sure there were many occasions where they couldn't hold it together.
