Hitchcock in Darjeeling?
The most recent time I watched this (only my fourth, I think) I felt like there were Hitchcock references/homages sprinkled throughout. Anyone else notice this?
The two that immediately spring to mind are the Businessman in the beginning missing the train (a la Hitchcock in North By Northwest -- as mentioned in another thread), and the Birds-meets-North-By-Northwest scene when the brothers are waiting for the bus out of the village and first one man comes from across the dusty field, then we pan away only to find tons of villagers upon the pan back. I think there were at least 2 more, but they're eluding me right now...
