Owen Wilson was legendary in this
my fav of his roles. great movie
shareI agree. I've watched the film several times now and his performance gets better-or-I'm simply paying more attention.
He does a wonderful throw-away delivery. The saddest line is when he says how he lives alone. It's said so quietly and laconically that I missed it before. There's a whole world of pain locked up in the way it's said.
Yes. He kind of gazed out the window when he said it, too, which made it heartbreaking in its subtlety.
shareHe was good but Bottle Rocket's Dignan was a better role for Owen Wilson. Francis reminded me of Dignan at times.
I give my respect to those who have earned it; to everyone else, I'm civil.share
