"Sex Offender" is thrown around too loosely...

Urinating in public puts you on the sex offender list. I don't believe that spanking it in an "adult" theater constitutes a threat to our children. A sex offender should be guilty of a sex crime such as molestation, rape, child pornography, etc. People think its frightening to look at the sex offender database and see thousands of people in your city.

The real frightening part is that we have no way to know who is an "actual" sex offender among these people. I think the Peewee case was so blown up and ridiculous. I always assumed that was why people went to adult theaters. If you are watching a guy expose himself on camera...why is it so outrageous to see a guy expose himself in real life in the same environment?

Just my opinion...but I support Peewee and think he got screwed over for a petty crime.

It is a system that has been abused by the system.
In my life I have met a few good people that had the misfortune to wind up on that list.
Problem is who has the courage to advocate for people who wrongly or should not be on the list in this climate?
It just adds to the government booga booga to keep everyone afraid of their neighbors.

He was also arrested in 2002 for possesion of child pornography.

He claims it was a part of his historical art collection and I believe it since the cops wouldn't deny it

He was arrested on suspicion of child pornography but never formally charged if I'm not mistaken. The commotion was over oil paintings which depicted children sexually. Reubens frequently purchased 19th century erotica in bulk so it's improbable that he even knew and, if he did, it's not like he had Polaroids of children posing nude. They were vintage paintings which are probably worth a great deal of money.
