is he just the writer? i thought he was gonna play Pee Wee's son, or something

I think he was one of the members of Pee-Wee's band.

Yeah,the planets really aligned for this one.Now,move uranus;the mercury's rising.

He was in it briefly as 'Ernie' the guy in Dan's Diner who compliments Pee-Wee on his French Toast. I suspect he may have not had a lot of time to film because he may have been filming Love at the same time.
