So I am 30 now, but I grew up with Pee Wee. I watched Pee Wee's Playhouse all the time and Pee Wee's Big Adventure was one of my childhood favorite films. I have to say that I was not looking forward to watching this. I thought it would be terrible. But you know what, it was actually really fun. I wouldn't say it was as good as Big Adventure but it had a charm all of its own and was a good time. I recommend this film. It's good for old Pee Wee fans like me!

shareI'm 30 as well and have been waiting years for another Pee-wee production. I was definitely a little disappointed coming away from Big Holiday, but it wasn't terrible by any means. It certainly could have been much better though!

Two LOL moments were his 1st high pitched scream and the nightmare scene in the well.

Agreed! I really appreciated the humorous vibe and spirit of the originals in the movie. I hope they make more.
