Pee-wee conspiracy theory.

It kind of hit me when Pee-wee says he's never been outside of Fairville. He went to the Alamo!

But then I got over it. The events of that movie weren't really referenced in Pee-wee's Playhouse either.

Actually I figured it out. Pee-wee is not one person. He's a series of clones. Hence the not aging.

I'm sorry, the number you've dialed is imaginary. Rotate your phone 90 degrees and try again.

Yeah there is definitely a lack of continuity there. Not to mention he stepped back into the 50's.

There's a lack of continuity between every Pee-wee show and movie. Nobody complained when he went from living in the suburbs to living in a fantasy land with puppets.

reply

This film is purposely not connected to the original one.

reply

It's a prequel to Big Adventure and Big Top. It fits perfectly in the canon that way. No leaving home because Adventure hasn't happened yet and no two girls fighting because Big Top hasn't happened yet.

reply

No that's not it.
