I feel sort of devastated that the season is looking like it's ending this week. Right when I was just getting used to the connection with Paul's patients, it's already over! Do you think the season could have benefited from being as long as the others?
Oh and by the way, the last session with Sunil, I thought, was very powerful.
OMG, yes it was powerful!! I was totally shocked then jumping up and down in my seat. He totally *PUNKED* Paul, didn't he? I had no idea he was setting this whole thing up...to get back to Calcutta. Love IT!!! He's right...there was no other way his son was gonna let him go. I just hope he does have some resources in Calcutta to help him transition. I have a feeling he does. Phenomenal actor...loved him in THE NAMESAKE. He garners riveting attention.

I know the feeling with regards to the end of the Season, but also partially shutting the door on the series. Was a little concerned they would try and focus in season 4 on a different therapist like Adele etc.
Perhaps Gabriel Byrne wants more time to do movies etc, but it just wouldnt be the same without Gabriel Byrne he IS the show. Fine actors compliment his talents, but he is the 'anchor' for the show. I hope they will start Season 4 with something like "6 Months later". Maybe he could regain his faith in the profession from finding a way to help his own family, or even seeing that Adele made a difference for his perspective.
Even after watching all the other episodes in the final week (and yes Sunil was interesting and well executed, but I did see that one coming) I did not expect Gabriel Byrnes last episode....I sent off a bulk email to my friends, after watching that show at some ridiculous hour of the night, saying No No NO it cant be.....and I guess I will have to wait for the IMDB chatter to enlighten me in the coming months as to the fate of the show.
Patience is not one of my virtues.

Someone, tell me if that really was the last episode. No one seems to know for sure, plus there are still a number of episodes (until 43, I believe) listed for this season.. I'm getting confused! God, I really hope the season hasn't ended already. I was really getting into all the storylines, especially Jesse and Adele.
Can't wait for season 4!!!
