Just started watching the first season

I'm on week seven and I really, really dislike Amy. Like a lot.

I'm quite impressed with Embeth Davidtz's acting ability/range. My daughter watched the movie "Matilda" over and over again when she was a little girl, so I grew rather fond of Ms. Honey! :>)

On a side note, I am enjoying this series very much and the great work of all of the actors. I'm sorry it was cancelled, but I am looking forward to watching the next two seasons on DVD.

It's been a loooong time since I saw season 1 but I remember disliking Amy too. I think there were a couple of moments where she play-acted some emotion until she got a reaction, then laughed and basically said "just kiddin'". You know, like "just pullin' your chain?" I actually have had people do that to me, at which point I stopped associating with them.
