Walter's story was not compelling at all

I tried getting into it, but couldn't. I like his portrayer, but the story just didn't grab me. Think there was too much a lack of self-awareness.

a big problem with a lot of people, perhaps our whole culture. some of the stories seem more engaging sometimes than others, but for me it kind of shifted back and forth a lot.

the thing I found really well done about this was the underlying problems simmering in Paul throughout the whole thing.

the question of if someone has to be perfect or self-aware themselves to apply their art to someone else? Is psychology by its nature hypocritical?

It's sort of like flip-flopping between having absolute power, or no power. Is there ever a case where a therapist has said, yes I agree with your ending therapy? they all want more time and money and respect?

the odd story that I thought would never grab me was the first, Blair Underwood as the soldier. Now that was a lack of self-awareness, and portrayed so well … I knew I found something interesting when I first saw that and had to see the rest of the series.
