Last episode of Season1 unanswered phone call

While Paul is at Laura's house he gets a phone call from Sophie which he doesn't answer. Does this ever get addressed? It seems so uncaring for someone who normally does the right thing sooner or later. Sophie was such a great character, I really wanted to know why she felt the need to call. It looked like he forgot all about it too and didn't even call her after his panic attack and getting out of the house...

The phone call was not from Sophie, it was from Rosie, his daughter.

Really? Thanks! That makes much more sense. Of course he can't answer it there and it helps remind him that this is the wrong thing to do...
