Single Set, Dialogue Driven Films

Hey guys. I just caught Carnage the other night and loved it. Had a total In Treatment vibe, so it was a nice little treat since I haven't watched people in a room having a (hugely compelling, often heated) conversation. Anyone have any other suggestions? I have been meaning to catch Sunset Limited for the same reason.

The mother of them all that began this decades ago "Dinner With Andre" you might like.

12 Angry Men is also good
I have seen both versions and both are excellent
enjoyed the most recent version mainly because i was more familiar with the actors but both are excellent

I always seem to like movies better the more distant and even foreign the people in them are … but that is the movies that are like human stories. They seem more realistic and interesting when it is not the same old faces I have seem a thousand times before.

I strongly recommend "12 Angry Men". There are many versions of it, the two that are well known are: "12 Angry Men" (Sidney Lumet, 1957) and "12 Angry Men" (William Friedkin, 1997) but there is also a Russian remake "12" (Nikita Mikhalkov, 2007) aswell as other TV versions of it.
As for single set, dialogue driven films... I love that kind of movies! I am about to watch The Man from Earth (Richard Schenkman, 2007).

The Man From Earth is absolutely amazing. Definitely check it out. It's on Netflix.

Wow, I ended up watching Before Sunrise and Before Sunset based on these recommendations from this thread and they were totally worth it! Before Sunrise is a great film that is multiplied by the work put into Before Sunset. Having just seen Before Midnight, I can say that the whole saga leads to this entirely satisfying film that instantly went down as one of my favorite films ever for exploring so many delicate topics involved in a committed relationship. This is truly one of the best films I have seen in my 25 years of living. Check it out!

Loved Carnage. Interview by Buscemi is fascinating as well. I'm in love with that film. It technically has two locations, but most of it is in an apartment like Carnage.

Downbeat, but 'Night Mother qualifies.

You probably already saw it, but I definitely recommend The Sunset Limited. If you liked Carnage you should really enjoy it.

If you like Carnage, you would love Polanski's newest 'Venus in Fur'.. It is also a single set film. It is great!
