Luke and Bess, Oliver's parents.

See a pattern here? Self-absorbed family members can't make everybody fit perfectly into their pretty little pictures, so they take them to therapy.

Or, in the case of Sophie's dad, he's able to maintain his "pretty little picture" regarding her because he's away; when it can't be maintained in the face of her stating her wants and needs at Paul's, he disses therapy altogether to protect his massive ego.

To a greater or lesser extent

Laura - vanity about her looks and sex appeal
Alex - vanity about his looks and his physical and intellectual prowess
Sophie's father - living the high life for him, himself and he
Amy - a little vanity about her looks and sex appeal
Frances - vanity about her looks and celebrity status but now she's getting old
Jesse - everything is all about Jesse and his tantrums
