Adam Rapp, who wrote Sunil's arch on "In Treatment" wrote and directed "Through The Yellow Hour" which just got extended at Rattlestick Playwrights Theater in NYC's West Village.
Sunil's therapy sessions certainly stood out...and I believe Sunil's decision influenced Paul's decisions about the course of his life. Sunil was among the best characters from all seasons.
I really miss this show. I wish Paul Weston would find his way back to treatment.
It was Sunil's episodes that got me hooked on this show. I randomly watched this one day and saw a Sunil episode, then binged watched all the other Sunils. Then I backtracked and watched other episodes. None were as good, except the Amy Ryan ones. I didn't like the women in Paul's life - the therapist/mentor, the patient he fell in love with, his wife..
Agree. I found Sunil so interesting to watch. I also loved his eccentricity and sense of humour. I laughed aloud at some things he came out with. The actor was really good.
