I've been watching a lot of season 1 episodes, and I must say that Mark Tewksbury's hosting skills are painfully deficient. He tries to crack jokes and they fall flat every time and he's not all that interesting. I'm glad they opted to have only a narrator and no host in subsequent seasons.

Although not as bad as Tewksbury, the guy from Season 13 really drove me up a wall. He speaks like he has a mouth full of marbles.
Just today I started watching season 14 and was SO happy that the regular host is back. I have to admit that it took me some time to warm up to her (she's VERY intense and sing songy), but now, she pretty much IS the show.
