I just finished watching this episode. In it, a 5 1/4 inch floppy disk (really floppy) is inserted into an Apple II computer to control the hole puncher. Just how long ago was this episode actually produced? Twenty years? Or does the player piano company still use Apple IIs and 5 1/4 inch floppies?
sharei just saw that too and was fairly amused. i can firmly imagine that this company can still use floppy discs. and i mean the really old FLOPPY discs.
i work at a popular movie store and we still us DOS. our computers still have floppy drives. i've seen other companies still using DOS and old old computers. remember other parts of the segment had them use laptops to record the piano.
