What a pathetic, bad movie. Should be on MST:3K

This so-called film-noir is just garbage. Frank Miller is good in certain things. A director he is not. This movie only had Eva Mendes, Samuel L. Jackson and Scarlett Johanssen because they thought it was by the guy who made Sin City and Jessica Alba more famous ( with her famous hip twist in that movie ).

What a sad mistake by them. The acting was pathetic, direction was pathetic. The movie had film-noir, b/w graphics and then some loose hint of color scenes thrown in that didn't seem to gel well.

The lead was horrendously bad. Cheesy acting and cheesy lines. Cheesy direction all over.

This shows that you need to do what your strength is. If you make good graphic novels, stick to that.
