Someone needs to get Frank off the sauce
This movie was unbelievably terrible. I mean, I like Frank Miller's older stuff, but between this and All-Star Batman and Robin the Boy Wonder...Frank just needs to stop.

Eh, i've always found Miller to be rather overrated..
"The Dark Knight Returns" is probably his greatest work.
"Sin City" is at least an interesting world with some neat ideas, but he kind
of beat that horse into the ground till it died.
He seems to produce alot of mediocre stuff interspliced with some works
of true genius.
That being said, I actually find "The Spirit" to be unfarily ripped on..
It's actually pretty entertaining.

shareAgreed. This was one of the worst piles of tripe I've ever watched. I felt ripped off watching it on cable, and it's (almost) free doing that. I also am not a hater. I can pretty much watch anything and find something redeeming, but this was just garbage. The visuals were okay for a while, but even that became absurd as the film dragged (and it did d...r...a...g) on. It was like Sin City in the hands of someone on crank who'd been up for two weeks and was experiencing psychosis.
The worst part was the dialog. It sounded like some pre-pubescent, comic nerd gone wild. Ugh.
