Yikes. Just yikes.

Holy freaking god.....

I didn't think they made movies this bad anymore.

We walked out about 3/4 of the way through. It was THAT bad. This is coming from someone who sat through Young Einstein.

The script is unbearable. I'm glad I didn't get any popcorn, because I swear I may have puked it up. The acting is...absent. Unless you count Samuel L. Jackson's insane overacting. I think he was trying to compensate for the lack of acting on the rest of the cast's part.

The guy playing the Spirit, Gabriel Macht, is cute as hell, but I don't think we'll be seeing him again any time soon.

I couldn't figure out what the plot was. Some guys and a girl are doing things to get stuff and hitting people over the head with toilets and photocopying their butts and there's one guy playing all of the bad guy's henchmen and none of them can act.

The only thing that could have made this movie worse would be a scene with people dressed like Nazis killing kittens.

Oh wait.... They do have a scene of that.... At least according to most of the reviews I've read. No, I'm not *beep* you. In fact it's safe to say that the only reason I'm blogging right now instead of dying of a bullet wound to the head is because we walked out early.

Don't see this movie, unless you have some perverse desire to see just how bad a big-budget film can get.

It smells like a Bible story in here!

I made it all the way through. I envy you. Though I'll only disagree on one thing: Macht did a good job with the garbage he was forced to say and do.

I agree with everything said in the above two posts.
The film stinks to high heaven on it's own .

But if you are a lover of the Will Eisner comic strip, your hatred of this film will double.
