This is quite possibly my favorite show

Very few tv shows or movies, if any, get me as interested as this one did. I saw it when it first aired, and still check every once in a while to see if by some miracle they are making a sequel. The story may have a few holes but I still think its a really great series. I can't believe that it didn't get good reviews from critics when I thought it blew the doors off most tv series today. There are so many unanswered questions from the show that I find it quite frustrating that they aren't continuing it.

Yeah, I wish they would make a sequel to this. It's a great show and it's very satisfying how while the objects are supernatural, the whole objects/room thing has a kind of delicious logic to it. I wish they would develop the idea more. Let's keep hoping!

The main reason to why there are holes in the plot this far is pretty much because it's a season INTRO. It's not supposed to be a full story, because that's what the following season(s) would include.

Man, I hope they're making a full season of this! SO GOOD!

Then you need to watch more shows!

No, it's not. They dragged out the story...

Re: This show could have given at least three seasons.

So the first season of 'X-Files' rounded out the plot completely?

Who are all the Cylons in B.G.?
You don't know?
Didn't you watch the pilot mini-series?

Lost tidied up everything nicely in Season-1.

With that logic, there would be no continuing suspense or mystery in any TV series.

sirik666, what are you on about?
Who said anything about X-Files, BSG, Lost etc?

I believe you missed his point. If you round everything up in the pilot episodes, what would the basis of the rest of the show be?

Take Heroes e.g. (though it's a *beep* show): ... oh wait, the plot is so shifting that you can't even round it up, because the writers have no idea of what they're doing.

Take Farscape, or Babylon 5, or whatever your favourite show is. Did the conclusion of the show come in the first 2 eps? I doubt it. So why should it in this show?

Answer: It shouldn't. And it didn't. And that's why at least a full season is needed to get all the answers we want, and complete the show. Taking out 3 episodes of a season and saying "this show sucks", is like watching the first 20 minutes of a movie, turn it off and say "this movie sucks, I don't get any answers".
