The Polaroids

In the film, the batch of Polaroids are Objects.

This means that they were in the room at the time of the Event.

So, how could pictures (clues) of the Vault, which was set up later by a Collector to store other Objects, have already been taken? The Vault was set up after the Event, so pictures leading to it could not have been Objects. QED.

Any ideas?

I greatly enjoyed the movie.

One Polaroid was an Object. The rest were just pictures, taken after the event. I'm guessing that collector put the Polaroid with the other non-object polaroids to camouflage it. I don’t have it with me to verify it, but Joe’s line was something like “This picture is an object.” As opposed to “these pictures are objects.”

Only one polaroid was an object. The Collecter's clues were just ordinary pictures which they took.
