Other Sci-Fi mini series?
I saw this and I loved it, and then I came across The Triangle, and I really liked that too. Does anyone know any of the other Sci-Fi mini series? I can't really find a list anywhere.
Thanks!

My top favorite miniseries would definitely be 5ive Days to Midnight from 2004 ( with Timothy Hutton ) . Unfortunately Sci Fi doesn't show this mysterious miniseries enough . I have only seen this on Sci Fi twice and to my knowledge was about a couple of years ago . Thanks so much princess_sprkle for your awesome subject post .
Children of Dune.
shareBattlestar Galactica: The Miniseries (2003)
Dark Kingdom: The Dragon King
Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars
Firestarter: Rekindled
Frank Herbert's Dune
Legend of Earthsea
Steven Spielberg Presents: Taken
Tin Man

Not Sci-Fi actually, but real world mixed with fantasy: Neverwhere
shareI liked the original Riverworld although I think sci-fi remade it a few years later, too. Earthsea was another mini series that was okay. Although, today, they have steered away from mini-series and tend to keep producing their d-movie Saturday night horror movie of the week stuff.
I wish Sci-Fi would get away from garbage like cooking shows, wrestling, and hunting ghosts and start producing more quality stuff like The Lost Room. Other cable channels like AMC, A&E, TNT, USA, etc are all blowing them out of the water with original programming. It's sad, for real sci-fi fans anyway.
Taken, Battlestar Galactica, and Children of Dune are the three finest Sci-Fi Channel miniseries to date. Granted, once you watch BSG, you'll need to see the rest of the series, and CoD requires watching Dune (which was very good, though not great) beforehand.
I really miss the days when I used to find myself eagerly anticipating the newest Sci-Fi Channel miniseries. They're most recent miniseries just don't look that interesting.
Here's a list of all the ones that I'm aware of, and my ratings (out of ****) for each.
