I thought his vampire army would become the first set of vampires. An original group so to say. But then he killed them all. Kind of makes no sense that he could resist killing humans but none of the other vampires could. It was an alright movie. Missed a few interesting opportunities.
shareI think he killed them b/c they wanted to kill his son. He also tried to kill himself. I don't think the other vamps cared about resisting. Wish there was a sequel...

The only possible explanation might be that "2nd batch" of vampires become more animalistic, less humans? Other than that, it seemed like weak writing, or rushing the end.
Entertaining film though.
