Was that SUPPOSED to be an "American" accent...it sounded terrible and I'm usually not the type of person who notices those sorts of things.

don't worry, you weren't the only one who noticed it. He needs to work on it. There were times when he did sound like he was American, but then there were certain words where his normal accent showed up. I still love him, though
