Hi Guys - The superb house set in the cliff is it a real place or just CGI ?

For the most part, it's CGI.
In the first movie, they used the Griffith Observatory for the driveway scenes, aka entering the house (when all the guests are gathered outside). And then the hill that the hearses go up are also the Observatory.

I think in the first movie it was a miniture... and in the 2007 movie it was cgi... and really crappy cgi too D:

Really bad CGI! Even on a smaller budget, a stationary building seen mostly in the dark doesn't seem like it would be hard to do. However I'm not an animator so I could be wrong.

Burgas In Bulgaria. Coastal town. Added CGI.
