Plaster? SPOILERS!!!

Just finished the series and went back to watch first two eps again. A few thoughts;
1)Vagn doesn't have a plaster on his neck in his first scene. If it was meant as a clue he would have. When it does appear it looks like its been blended in with make up rendering it barely visible.
2)In his second scene with Thies outside the new house Vagn is playing it like it's the first time he's seen it. Obviously he's already used it.
3)The first scene at city hall when Troels is late Morten is on the phone. He tells Rie that Troels left the conference half an hour ago. I may have this wrong, but did'nt Troels not go to the conference and Rie did. So why lie to her? She knows he didn't go.
I still love the show, it's great. I'm gonna watch it all again.
