I watched The Killing on the BBC and at the end of the last episode the announcer said that a second season would be on in the Autum. Anyone got any more info yet?

Yep they made a season 2 and are working on season 3. Season 2 is listed in IMDB only under the Danish name Forbrydelsen II. Hasn't shown anywhere but Denmark I don't believe.

Has been shown in German TV already.

It's annoying that the German DVD/Blurays don't have subtitles as an option, they're dubbed. The dub's reasonable though and if you speak German, you can get it on Bluray from Amazon.de for ~30 Euros.

Yes, there is a season 2. It aired in Denmark in autumn 2009. It's only 10 episodes, but in my opinion it's even better than the first season. So look forward to it!

Season 1 was good. Season 2 was AWESOME!! And heartbreaking (in a good way) Imho :-)

Has Season 2 been released with English Subtitles? Danish DVD with subtitle option?

Are the subtitles legit? I'd hate to watch season 2 with poorly translated subtitles.

I might have to wait till it airs on BBC. Is there a release date for when it will air?

The internet subtitles are bloody aweful, but season 2 is worth watching even with them - it's amazing. I had to watch it online, no way i could wait for Australia to screen season 2 god knows when. But yeah, the subs feel like they'e been put through Google traslate :-(

I downloaded season 2 via torrent .. but I couldn't find season 1
Do I have to watch season 1 before watching season 2 or I could watch 2 on it's own and understand it

you'd have to be a moron not to watch season 1 first which is better than 2 and 3 by 10x times. There is no reason not to watch them in order and you should or you will miss out on a lot.
