I lerned Norwegian but I found that I can't follow a single word of Danish speech but I can read it.

Swedish, I have found, is easier on my ear and when I watched The Bridge I found that I could understand exactly half of it (the half in Swedish). And for that reason I enjoyed the Swedish Wallander series.

Of course, you may have a better ear for Dansk than I and, if so, then you will find it a lot easier.

There is also Bron/Broen, a co-production between Denmark and Sweden.
Its begins with the discovery of a body on The Oresund Bridge between Denmark and Sweden.
But on closer examination, it turns out that it not just a body, but the upper half of a man and the lower half of a woman.
Because the two half bodies is found between the two boarders of the countries, where neither the Danish or Swedish Police has the full jurisdiction, they are now forced to work together, in order to find the killer.

The second season is another case, where the Danish and Swedish Police work together.
