Is the UK Blu-Ray set Region Free?

I noticed that a complete 3 series collection of Forbrydelsen on blu-ray has been released recently in the UK. Would anybody out there with the set confirm if it is region free or not? I live in the US and would absolutely love to have this set on blu-ray, but of course only if it works in my player. I still don't understand the purpose of region coding (let alone completely remaking a fantastic show at the same time as not even letting the original be available).

I'm afraid it won't play on a Zone A (U.S) player.

I just ordered mine (I'm in England). However I got a Zone A (U.S) player for many U.S locked blu-rays (-mainly Criterion-), works fine with a transformer! Why not get a Zone B player from over here?

Thanks for letting me know! I have thought about getting another player, but I ultimately feel that would be giving into and rewarding an incredibly idiotic business practice that is the region coding. You should be able to play the exact same discs in England that I can in California. I don't even understand how this profits the entertainment companies since the movie is still being paid for, whether it's in the US or the UK. They still get the same amount of money. I guess the international distributors could potentially get cut out, but that method of selling is completely outdated and should be extinct.

If you have a computer that plays blu ray, you can change the region to play region B. That's what I did.
