One question. (SPOILERS!)

I have only seen Season 1, but was glued to the TV staying up far too late to fit just one more ep in each night until it was over. In episode 19 (may have been 20), Troels finally decides he has had enough of Rie and tells her he never wants to see her again. He accuses her of having cleaned up the flat, and a number of other things. It turns out Morten actually started to clean the flat, but stopped after only having cleaned the stairs and the door.

Why did he stop? The apartment was covered in blood. I assume the killer beat Nanna up in the apartment, and then drove her to the house Thiels had purchased. So why did Morten suddenly decide NOT to clean up the apartment? And why did Troels blame Rie? He got it wrong (it was Morten), but obviously if it had been Rie, she would have thought that Troels killed Nanna and was just trying to protect him. Hardly something to never want to see her again over.

I am obviously missing something. Very much enjoyed the show, kept me watching to the last episode.

I think

Morten says that when he realized that Troels was not responsible for the murder he just cleans the stairs and the door and nothing else.

i just saw the episode Morten says something like..I am not a bad person i was going to tip the police after the election, i did not keep the tape, when i realized you were not involved i left everything the way it was in the flat.

I think Troels was angry at Rie because for one it wasn't ethical what he thought she had done. Secondly with Rie he was concerned about the fact that she had been hiding all these things from him for so long.
