Brilliant

Finally a cop show that doesn't treat the audience as idiots. Being British I have in recent years had to put up with the usual 'why can't you see what's going on you thick plod?' Lund is a brilliant character and she gets things as soon as you do and sometimes before. The only other show that comes anywhere near this is the original Swedish Wallander TV series for depth of character and intelligence. British TV makers take note: you've been left been behind, time to play catch up and fast.

There are brilliant british tv shows too, such as "Waking the dead" and the Messias-series, then the series with Robbie Coltraine, and some others.

English is not my first language. Any corrections are welcome.

Oh, I wouldn't say that. As much as I liked this, I think The Wire is far superior in both "depth of character and intelligence", though to be sure, The Wire is more than just a police procedural. Another series that's at least the equal of this with respect to "depth of character and intelligence" is a Canadian crime series called, appropriately enough, Intelligence.

Yeah you Brits are at least not as lacking as over here in America...gad try turning on American commercial TV. Yikes. reality?!
