TOTALLY!!!!!!!! In an interview with the actress who plays Sarah Lund she was asked to have an affair with him in part of the script.She refused saying it would just become a cliche plot move.
Wise girl production wise..but oh! The waste of the man!hehehehe
I absolutely agree with you hahaha!!! Btw he's not my type as far as men go but it's the way he played the part that really did it for me. Great chemistry between him and Lund too!

He's also so not my type but I totally agree with you. In a different context, I probably wouldn't pay him much attention but as this character, he was surprisingly hot. He kind of looks like a taller, better looking version of Putin (whom I don't find attractive at all).
Aside from the absolute d*ck move he pulled at the end [re: his treatment of Rie], he was very intriguing to watch all throughout series 1.
I really liked Troels and missed him in series 2. He was attractive and he and Lund had such marvellous and hot chemisty and I kept hoping something would happen between them ....... I'm looking forward to seeing Lars Mikkelsen in new thriller Those Who Kill
