Why no season 4???
Im confused... Season 3 ended on a cliffhanger. Amd the series was critically acclaimed. So why no season 4 to wrap things up.
shareB/c the creator always had intended for it to be just three seasons. Google interviews with Søren. He goes into more detail on why he needed to bring Forbrydelsen to a close. I think he left series 3 with a cliffhanger to give the ending an explosive punch, to go out with a bang.
Personally, I'd be overjoyed with a new series. But that just won't happen. The US version is okay but very different. Even as an American, I prefer the Danish one far more.
Its funny because the US version of season 3 had a near identical cliffhanger. But then they had a season 4 which gave the series such a great conclusion.
