Having binge watched all 3 seasons of the Killing I can say without out doubt Sarah Lundy is an *beep* she has no personality no sense of humour she is cold and bitter person good cop she may be,

I've only seen Season One, but I agree. She seems to be a narcissist.
shareI kinda feel that's the point, she's not meant to be particularly likeable. Most protagonists in detective series aren't or at least appear to act distant so you tend to associate or empathise with their sidekicks instead, in Sarah's case her sidekicks tend to take third place to a non-existent second whereas with Morse it was Lewis, with Sherlock it was Watson, and so on. It's just her character, cut off from the world, I believe S3 sort of showed that to some degree.
Sarah has no strong or trust-worthy side-kick to fallback on. Perhaps that's what makes the series so successful, by being different.
