Even thought all the seasons of Forbrydelsen are based on different cases, I would still like to know about the Birk Larsen family.
Did Theis go to jail, or was he given mercy, due to circumstances? Did Pernille leave Theis, as it seemed was imminent?

He would definitely have been jailed, he committed three serious offences -
Abducting and threatening a school teacher
Abducting, threatening and severely beating up a school teacher leaving him with permanent injuries
Shooting dead a man.

No idea, insufficient information available to make a decision.
My opinion is that Theis would have been given a relatively short sentence for killing Vagn, his death was more like suicide by friend, he handed the gun to Theis and basically egged him on.
I don't think Pernille would leave Theis, although she might be angry with him for trusting Vagn for so many years, but then so did she.
I'm curious as well about this drug dealer who its implied he beat to death 20 years previously.When hes being questioned about the beating of the schoolteacher Meyer says something to him to the effect of I know you had a good reason to do it or something like that.Its maybe briefly mentioned again once then no more from what I remember.
