i thought the anime at the start of the movie was really good... any one know of any good anime movies out there done it the same kinda style ???

Gendy Tartakovsky uses a LOT of different styles of animation. However, at the same time he was doing this short piece, he was also creating "Symbiotic Titan", which has exactly the same look.

The Animatrix, incase you havent seen it yet.
And not so similar, but very violent yet fun, the fantastic " Dead Leaves."
