An enjoyable film
I see a lot of negativity here for Priest, but I really liked it. Had a very decent cast, great action, a better and more importantly original plot than most of what we see being made these days. The blind evolution of the "soulless" vampire was new and it was interesting to see them not as glorified or visually appealing as say they were in Van Helsing. I think Cam as Hicks did a good job although he really reminded me of Mississippi from Eldorado with John Wayne. I always like to see Maggie Q and Paul Bettany. Really felt like it was a vampire story set in Fallout New Vegas for some reason. Of course Karl Urban is always a favorite and I think he did great as Black Hat. It's really too bad for those of us who enjoyed the film that it did so poorly financially. I would have been really interested to see what they could do with a sequel, but that'll most likely never happen.
