Slightly O/t Puppies VS Dogs
I will never ever understand why people give up dogs once they are no longer cute and little. The novelty of a puppy dissipates in about a week. You put in the work to get the dog. I live in a cold place taking a puppy out to pee while house training in -40 degrees celsius sucks. The puppy isn't the reward here the dog is.
Puppies are adorable and snuggly, every time I see a puppy I want it but then I remember how much it sucked when my dog was a puppy. They are little and in a new place away from their moms and their brothers and sisters. Thrust into a new situation with this new person. I'd imagine it would be slightly terrifying. Why put in all that work just to get the dog attached to you just to dump it? I am in no place to judge I understand situations changing and no longer being able to take care of a dog. But I will never understand how someone can dump a dog just because he grew up.
Its something you'll get used to a mental mind *beep* can be nice!
