It sucks getting old!

I watched 'Flipped' tonight and realized how much it sucks to get old. It took me a while to figure out who played Richard and Trina Baker before I realized it was Aidan Quinn and Penelope Ann Miller. I knew them (in the movies) when they were much younger and it's sad to admit that we all must age. It's all around us. I remember when cars all had their own style. Now they all look the same. And the government wasn't as near crooked as it is now. Sorry. It just sucks getting old.

Oh, and I just realized that it was Rebecca De Mornay who played Patsy Loski. 'The Hand That Rocks the Cradle'. Has it really been that long? She still looks great. I think I was mainly thrown because of the 60's styling. It just sucks to get old.

To tell you the truth, the only thing bad about getting older is that people are so rude now - no manners and courtesy. It wasn't like that before the mid-90's. People had more apathy. They were relaxed and good to each other. Now it's a nightmare. It forces you to mingle with the financially well off. They wouldn't dream of behaving poorly and they don't! So you go out less often but with a better class of people lol As far as physically getting older, you just have to tweak things along the way. But the most important thing is to be very careful about what you submit to your body. If you smoke, you will pay for it dearly in your health and your looks. Same thing if you drink alcohol. Sun exposure without protection. Red meat, same thing.
