How is this rates PG???

Other than the 3 uses of the "s-word", this seems like a movie that 9-15 year olds would want to watch. I'm 18 and watching it though lol. I also wouldn't be surprised if parents unwittingly let their very young children watch this. They should have rated it PG-13. I know they had a limit of around 12,540 swears in 1960s-early 1990s PG films, but this was made in 2010.

The words *beep* and retarded are used too. It's very minimal, though, and yes, it's a very clean film overall.

Geezus, grow up! All kids know about 'bad' words and use them regularly. I'm an old man, and even in the 60s and 70s my friends and I knew every so-called 'obscene' word and used them with abandon. It's kinda funny, actually. Adults look around to make sure there're no kids around before they swear--and kids look around to make sure there're no ADULTS around before THEY swear. Please, let's stop criminalizing words. Everyone knows them, and only the most repressed and uptight get upset when they hear them aloud.

PG-13 isn't too bad of a rating to give the movie. What really grinds my gears is that Disney is scared of PG-13.

As long as it's not rated R or God forbid NC-17, it's okay.

Many PG rated 80s/90s movies had much worse content than this and probably should have had a different rating. Given that the director is Rob Reiner, the man who made Stand By Me, it's no surprise really.

Movie ratings make no sense.
