She was such a sweet and caring person.

It was a really great role and Madeline played it brilliantly.
Like Grandpa said - some young women are irridescent. Juli was definitely one of them.

I bit of a manic pixie dreamgirl. But the characters where complex enough not to warrant such a derogatory slur ;)

I love her too, but there was definitely no need to feel sorry for her. She was intelligent, compassionate and an independent thinker, with an extremely loving family at her side. It took a long time for Bryce to see her for the wonderful person she was, but even if he hadn't eventually figured it out, she had the backbone to move forward and still be happy. That was the great thing about her character--she loved Bryce but was not defined by him in any way.

I agree, Juli was the Disney princess of the movie.
