If his "retardation" was caused by lack of oxygen during childbirth he wouldn't act like he has down-syndrome. He would be braindead.

clearly you dont know much at all. Down syndrome can be caused by a bunch of things and lack of oxygen during birth foesnt only cause someone to be brain dead.

Actually that is completely incorrect. Down Syndrome is caused by a chromosomal anomaly while developing in the womb during gestation. Oxygen deprivation to a baby during birth, or premature arrival, most commonly causes Cerebral Palsy. That is what his brother suffered, but the acting wasn't quite right for that condition.

It should go without saying, any baby born "brain dead" would not speak, eat, talk, or even live to be an adult.

I'm autistic and I'm offended by the R-word. Also, I've met plenty of people with Down Syndrome and the ones I've met make the perfect Disney hero or Disney princess.
