worst 'zombie' movie EVER!!!!

I wouldn't go that far. There are plenty of terrible movies exploiting the Zombie genre that I wouldn't even dream of watching.

This is just a deeply flawed movie that does have some exciting moments.

It's biggest crime is the complete betrayal of the source material. If it had a different title (Brad Pitt Saves the World from Zombie-like Creatures, perhaps) there wouldn't really be an issue.

Fear/The Walking Dead and Game of Thrones are what World War Z could have been if done right. The Zombie genre's version of Band of Brothers and The Pacific.

Such as waste. Such a shame.

There was a lot of blood and gore cut for the theatre PG15 version.... there's about 7 minutes of additional footage (mostly blood & gore) in the unrated version.

Certainly not the absolute worst zombie film but it's certainly at the bottom in comparison to other actual GREAT zombie movies. I gave it a 3 out of 10 and that's what it deserves.

Zombie films are generally garbage, but this is one of the better examples of the genre. It's well-made, has a decent budget, actors who can act, and does something different with the subject.

They wanted kiddies to see their film so they could make more money.

So they made a PG-13 rated film.

Let that sink in....a PG-13 film....about flesh-eating zombies....taking over the world.

I'm glad that it's considered such garbage.
