Unrated Any Better?

Is it better to see the unrated version and just skip the theatrical release? Is it any improvement in storytelling and gore. I'm willing to give this movie a chance.

It is better in my opinion. It accually had blood in it. I liked it.

I never read the book(i plan on it at some point) and the only version i've seen is the unrated extended blue ray version....which means i have no biased hate. I like this film.
