Wife acting P.C. during the end of the world?! Yeah right. If there where ever a time for those little girls to grow up, now was it. The little boy from the other family was sure smart! Why baby girls so much?

That scene always gets me too. Her sense of entitlement and telling Gerry to go somewhere else to talk, it's like...how about getting real and stop pretending it's not happening.

I just thought of it as her not wanting to hear them discuss work in front of her. She seemed bothered by his old job and that's what I think was going on. She just didn't wanna lose him to that life anymore, but yall make pretty good points. And the girls also might have become bored with all the technical terms. Could've been any number of reasons.
