Not the least bit scary but still nicely done * SPOILERS *

I enjoyed the movie, although I wouldn't call it scary it did
have you guessing at times.

But what made the film for me was the clever ending comparing the
psychic reading of Alice and that of her mum.

Overall nicely done.

I agree, it's funny enough that both of them go to see ray for similar reasons.
i was quite startled by the footage on her phone though, wasnt expecting it to continue after they paused it.

I agree with the OP about how scary this was, but I would've preferred if it ended directly after the phone video. Either way I would recommend Lake Mungo over Paranormal Activity.

I think its probably been the death of this movie that Paranormal Activity came out first. While Lake Mungo is technicaly superior, catching that documentary feel better than any spoof documentary I ever saw. It will probably be compared to Paranormal Activity with the sentiment that it basically copied that idea. Or tried to ride on the success of it, however unjust.

I'd also agree it wasn't scary (apart from the cellphone scene which spooked me) I'd never put this in the horror category anyway. It's probably closer to an Agatha Cristie story than any traditional horror, and I loved it for that.

Well, Mungo is a 2007 film released far too late. That is the injustice of it.
